Zsolt Erdei of Hungary won the WBC cruiserweight title with a majority decision over Giacobbe Fragomeni of Italy yesterday.
Erdei, who vacated the WBO light-heavyweight title, raised his record to 31-0 in his first fight as a cruiserweight. Fragomeni, whose only previous loss was to David Haye, dropped to 26-2, with one draw.
Two judges gave the bout to Erdei 115-113, and the other scored it 114-114.
