Wairarapa indoor bowlers Kelvin and Elva Simonsen are on a roll.
The husband-and-wife combination continued a long run of impressive form when they won the pairs title at an invitation tournament played at the Roskill and Districts Centre Hall in West Auckland last weekend.
Seventy teams took part in the event with 24 of them qualifying for post-section play and the Simonsens completed a busy schedule without tasting defeat.
Their runs of successes began in February when they received silver medals for being runners-up in the fours at the New Zealand Masters Games at Wanganui.
Then at club level Elva, a former national representative, won the singles and pairs titles while Kelvin picked up the triples and fours as well as the Cossie Club singles.
At association level Elva won the singles and pairs championships as well as the Henselite champion of champion singles.
The duo took time out from bowls in June to contest the Masterton Petanque Club's "mid-winter madness" tournament at Clareville where they were runners-up and they also took part in the Masterton Cossie Club's "Chartered Clubs Super Sports Singles" which included eight ball, darts and indoor bowls .
There Elva won the women's section and Kelvin the men's.
And at the regional finals of that tournament Elva was runner-up for the women's title and Kelvin won the men's plate.
