New Zealand rally driver Possum Bourne remains in a drug-induced coma in Dunedin Hospital after an accident last Friday.
Bourne received head and leg injuries after a head-on collision with a fellow competitor during a course inspection before the weekend's Silverstone Race To The Sky event near Wanaka.
A Dunedin Hospital spokeswoman said yesterday that Bourne remained in a serious but stable condition. Medical specialists were not able to say how long he was likely to remain in a coma.
