KEY POINTS:
Two men and a woman appeared in the Manukau District Court this afternoon following the brutal slaying of a 27-year-old man in front of his partner and three year old daughter in south east Auckland at the weekend.
A 27 year old woman and two men, aged 36 and 24, faced a charge of trespassing after allegedly being apprehended near the crime scene in Botany Downs on Saturday night.
Crown prosecutor Steve Haszard said all three would face more serious charges in the coming days.
The victim, who has not been named, died after being bound, gagged and beaten at his Kirikiri Lane home in Botany Downs.
The woman appeared by herself in the dock while the two men later shared the dock. Family and supporters of the accused filled the public gallery.
All three were remanded in custody and had their names and physical descriptions suppressed until their next appearance on November 28.
