Booze sting catches nine

Wellington police are "disappointed" nine out of 16 premises visited during an alcohol sting were caught selling booze to minors.

In Wainuiomata, four premises sold alcohol to a 17-year-old female volunteer.

Five premises in Wellington city sold liquor to the minor.

All have been referred to the Liquor Licensing Authority.
