Thousands of books have been crammed into the Martinborough Town Hall for the Mid-Winter Monster Book Fair.
The fair is being held this weekend as a fundraiser for the First Church of Martinborough.
Pam Colenso, one of the organisers, said the money would help with renovating the inside of the church.
Book hunters eager to get a first pick can buy tickets to a special event tonight.
Children's authors Carolyn Collis and Phillip Percy will be guest speakers and a supper will be served.
