A bomb disposal expert prepares to enter a property on Tironui Rd in Takanini, south of Auckland, yesterday afternoon, after a police raid uncovered a methamphetamine lab and an improvised incendiary device.

A Defence spokesman said the device - understood to be a bottle containing incendiary material with a fuse - was neutralised and removed.
