KEY POINTS:
Police interviews with the accused men in Auckland's body-in-a-suitcase murder trial are expected to take up much of the fourth week of the trial.
Cui Xiangxin, Li Zheng and Wang Yuxi, all now 22, are charged with kidnapping and murdering 19-year-old Wan Biao, whose body was found in a suitcase floating in Waitemata Harbour on April 14 last year.
The Crown says Cui and Li lured Mr Biao to a hotel room in downtown Auckland and killed him, and that Wang was a party to the offences.
The trial was due to last four weeks but it is now set to continue into next week and could possibly extend into a sixth week.
Prosecutor Christine Gordon said she hoped evidence for the Crown would be completed by the end of the week.
Any evidence called for the defendants is not expected to begin until next week.
