Police are investigating after a man's body was found on Auckland's North Shore this morning.
The body was found by the waterline on the shore between St Leonard's and Narrow Neck Beaches by members of the public at about 6.30am.
Inspector Les Paterson told NZPA there was nothing to indicate the death was suspicious.
Inquiries were being made to see if the body was that of a middle-aged man from North Shore suburb of Belmont who had been reported missing.
