KEY POINTS:
Police say the death of a 48-year-old British tourist whose body was discovered yesterday north of Otaki on the Kapiti Coast is not suspicious.
Detective Sergeant Todd McLoughlin of Horowhenua CIB said the man was discovered in bush area by the caretaker of a private property on Forest Lakes Road.
A post mortem examination, performed today in Palmerston North, found no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Police did not release the man's name and were trying to contact his family in Britain.
