A 19-year-old woman's body was found off the coast of Raglan early this morning after her family raised grave concerns for her welfare.
Relatives reported her missing yesterday and a search was launched after her motorcycle was found abandoned at Manu Bay near Raglan.
The five-hour search involved a police
helicopter, search and rescue volunteers, a search and rescue dog and Coastguard vessels.
Police said the woman's body was found by a Coastguard vessel in the sea off Raglan about 1.20am.
The death was not being treated as suspicious by police.
