KEY POINTS:
Wellington police today confirmed that a body found in the town belt area above suburban Hataitai yesterday was that of missing man Brent Colin Young.
Police said on Thursday that friends were concerned about the 35-year-old's well-being as he had been upset and had some current health issues. Mr Young was last seen in Newtown on Tuesday.
Police Sergeant Donna Howard said today there were no suspicious circumstances and a report was being prepared for coroner.
