A body been found in Auckland's Waitemata Harbour today may be a missing elderly Korean man, say police.
Police recovered the body after commandeering a commercial ferry when the body was seen floating near the Birkenhead Wharf on Auckland's North Shore.
Police could not immediately confirm that the body was that of Hoo Kim, 87, who disappeared from his home in the Auckland suburb of Hillcrest on Tuesday.
Mr Kim, who had alzheimer's disease, could speak only a little English but could answer to his name.
