A body was found at a park in Palmerston North this morning.
Police were called to the Esplanade shortly after 7.30am by a member of the public who made the discovery.
The circumstances of the death and details of the person have not been released but a police spokeswoman said the death is not believed to be suspicious.
The death has been referred to the Coroner, police said.
