A man has been found dead on a footpath in an industrial area of Hamilton.
Police said the man's body was found on a path outside a yard on Green St in the suburb of Frankton just after 7:25am.
Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton said officers were carrying out a scene examination and working to identify the man.
"The body of a man, who we understand lives on-site, was found lying on the footpath outside the gate to the site.
"At this stage his death is being treated as unexplained and will continue to be until such time as we have information to the contrary."
