A body's been discovered this morning in the Dunedin suburb of Karitane.
But police won't confirm whether it's that of missing woman Grace Gardner.
The 36-year-old went missing two days ago, with aerial searches of the coastline failing to find any trace of her.
Acting Senior Sergeant Dave Scott says police are investigating the circumstances of the death on behalf of the coroner.
Police are currently at the house where the body has been found.
