KEY POINTS:
Northland Regional Council oil spill response staff have successfully removed all 1500 litres of diesel fuel left on board the 20m commercial fishing boat Seawyf after it hit and grounded on Fairway Reef in Doubtless Bay in the Far North this week.
The 100-tonne Seawyf remains listing and stuck fast about 7km north of the Mangonui Harbour entrance.
