Stunning Auckland weather has been welcomed by those keen to get out on the harbour over the weekend.
However a couple of young boaties found themselves in a spot of bother after misjudging the tides yesterday afternoon.
This shot was sent in by a bemused bypasser who noted the men were in a rented boat. The men were spending time at Islington Bay on Rangitoto Island when they discovered they had spent too long enjoying the sun and not enough time keeping an eye on the vessel.
