Boaties safe and sound

An upturned boat off Waiheke Island sparked an extensive search yesterday - before its occupants were found at home.

Coastguard spokesman Nathan Snell said the search involved three Coastguard vessels, a search plane, the police boat Deodar and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
