KEY POINTS:
A small boat fell from its trailer on the Auckland motorway this afternoon, slowing traffic around Spaghetti Junction ahead of peak hour.
A duty inspector at Police northern communications centre said one lane was blocked off, holding up traffic for around half an hour while the boat was re-loaded onto its trailer.
He said the boat had since been cleared and traffic had resumed to its normal flow.
