Organisers of New Zealand's biggest boat show say they pushed the event forward this year to make it easier for everyone.
The New Zealand Boat Show, set to run from Thursday to Sunday at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, has been held at Queen's Birthday for 26 years but organiser Dave Gibbs says changing lifestyles mean many Aucklanders are unlikely to be in town for the long weekend.
