Two people were rescued after their boat caught fire in the Hauraki Gulf this morning.
The pair were pulled to safety by the crew of another boat, which pulled up beside them in Home Bay, Motutapu Island, after they made an emergency call around 7.50am, the Fire Service said.
Fire, police and CoastGuard all responded to the incident.
The boat was towed back to shore by CoastGuard.
There were no reports of injuries.
