Boarding school fire extinguished

Fire crews quickly put out a fire at a boarding school at Cheltenham, north of Feilding, this morning.

The fire, at Hato Paora College, started in a room of the building and spread to the ceiling.

The alarm was raised about 4.45am and fire crews from Feilding and Cheltenham attended.
