A community board member has been charged with assault after an incident involving a teenage boy and his dog.
The 62-year-old man, who has interim name suppression, appeared in the Auckland District Court on one charge of assault following an incident in the Greater Auckland area on May 25.
His alleged victim is a 14-year-old boy.
