BMW is recalling six sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in New Zealand to fix a fault that could affect steering and braking.
BMW was in the process of tracking down the six 2008 X5 SUVs to replace a faulty low-pressure fuel pump, which could cause vehicles to lose power while driving, communications manager Edward Finn told NZPA.
The recall was part of an international recall of 20,800 vehicles.
There have been no reports of accidents or injuries due to the fault.
