KEY POINTS:
BMW's high-tech hydrogen-powered 7-series will be visiting the Southern Hemisphere next year.
The super-clean luxury sedan will be part of a BMW Efficient Dynamics exhibition at Melbourne's Federation Square from January 21-29. It will feature a fleet of BMW Hydrogen 7 limousines, which will be used to provide real-time driving experiences for political and business leaders, as well as key environment and media personalities.
The exhibition will be housed in a bespoke pavilion built on-site, and will contain static and interactive displays of future BMW technology, as well as information walls detailing some of the many technological automotive advancements BMW has developed. The Australian exhibition is part of a "global exposure" programme by BMW.
In America, BMW has been shuttling green-minded personalities - such as Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Richard Gere, Jay Leno and Placido Domingo - to public engagements in the BMW Hydrogen 7 limousines.
