A gas leak in Blenheim which caused police to advise nearby residents to stay indoors has been resolved.
Police told residents on Gascoyne, Budge, Henderson and Gardiner streets to stay inside at 6pm after a gas leak at a property on Budge St. A cordon was set up and traffic was stopped from entering the area.
Police advised just after 7pm that it had been resolved. All roads in the surrounding area have been re-opened and residents are free to leave their houses.
Police thanked those affected for their patience and co-operation.
