A blaze ripped through the top storey of a home in residential Mangere last night.
Four crews from the Fire Service attended the incident on Favona Ave at 11.45pm, spokesman Steve Smith said.
The fire was well involved on the second floor of the house when the teams arrived but everyone was accounted for, he said.
A fire investigator would be on the scene today to determine the cause.
