Firefighters are at a blaze in a vacant shop in rural Southland.
Fire crews were called to the fire in Kennington, near Invercargill, at 8.24am.
Southern communications centre shift manager Andrew Norris said the shop was unoccupied.
Two fire trucks were at the scene.
It was not yet known how the fire started.
