Irish accordion player Jimmy McGuinness says he spends more time talking about his accordion than playing, especially in Masterton.
The dapper travelling busker, from Timaru, is in town for a few days, entertaining locals on Queen St.
He said Masterton people really like hearing the accordion and often tell him their grandfathers used to play one.
"They really love it, it puts a smile on their face for the whole day.
"They always say they don't see anyone playing on one of those these days."
