A small black pig is has been captured by animal control after it disrupted Christmas Eve traffic.
A police spokeswoman said they were called about a black kune kune pig on the Southern Motorway near Randwick Park about 10.30am.
"A pig is running down the motorway in the slow lane. Traffic is driving slowly around it.
The spokeswoman was not sure how the pig had escaped.
"While he was running around one lane was going slower but there weren't any massive issues."
