Labour MP David Benson-Pope, who has been accused of physically assaulting former students, remains on his ministerial salary of $202,000 despite having stood down while a police investigation into the allegations is conducted.
Mr Benson-Pope, who is Minister of Fisheries, and Associate Minister of Education, Justice and for the Environment, keeps his full pay because he maintains the ministerial warrants. He will return next week.
