A Rotorua woman who defrauded Work and Income of more than $74,000 over a 10-year period has been told she is likely to go to jail.
Mere Honana, 31, a beneficiary, appeared in the Rotorua District Court and pleaded guilty to five charges of filing false forms and three of wilfully omitting to tell the department her circumstances had changed.
Honana has been remanded at large for sentencing on February 21.
