Peak Brewery in East Taratahi held their first "Oktoberfest" on Sunday with live music, outdoor seating and the obligatory boutique brewed amber.
Owner Rhys Morgan, with his wife Claudia and daughter Linda, 11, dressed in Bavarian costume for the occasion and were kept busy as punters lined up to try their offerings.
Mr Morgan said they usually have beer garden events each year, but are open every Sunday from 1pm.
The Oktoberfest celebrated the opening of the season for their batch, he said.
The afternoon's entertainment included the Masterton District Brass Band playing some "oom-pah-pah" music.
