ARC chairman Mike Lee says he will keep fighting for an area in the Hunuas containing the Mangatangi and Mangatawhiri dams to stay in Auckland after the Government's Super City bill this week placed them in the Waikato. They will continue to be owned and operated by the Super Auckland Council.
