Defending champions Harcourts 1 are averaging just over 50 goals per game after the first four matches in Netball Wairarapa's premier one inter-club competition.
They are sitting on top of the points table with Celtic 1, both teams having registered the maximum 16 points thus far.
Harcourts 1 has racked up 202 goals in their four games with just 98 against while Celtic has scored 172 goals and had 118 scored against them.
The young Kuranui College side is sitting a clear third on the table with 12 points and St Matthews Collegiate have moved to fourth with 9 points.
Just one point behind them are three sides, Salute Greytown, Sports Arena Carterton and Gladstone All Blacks, which means the battle for the top six spots to contest the premier one championship proper is now on earnest.

This weekend's draw sees Sports Arena Carterton playing Harcourts 2 and Celtic 1 up against Gladstone All Blacks at the Genesis Recreation Centre on Friday night while on Saturday at Colombo road courts St Matthews Collegiate will play Wairarapa College, Harcourts 1 will play Carterton Red and Kuranui College will meet Salute Greytown.
