New Zealand will play off for 11th and 12th against Angola on Saturday after losing their final Olympic men's basketball pool match 75-85 to Lithuania here today.
The New Zealanders were in the match at halftime, trailing the highly-rated European side 33-36. But they started slowly in the second spell and, despite a later rally, recorded their fifth loss from five matches.
