Three Southland Sharks basketball players have admitted being involved in a violent brawl outside a New Plymouth bar a few weeks ago.
Reuben Te Rangi, Leon Henry and Shea Ili appeared in the New Plymouth District Court this morning, where they pleaded guilty to assault with intent to injure.
Henry and Ili also pleaded guilty to injuring with intent to injure.
All three are applying to be discharged without conviction.
Te Rangi and Ili are also seeking a restorative justice conference.
