Baritone scores $10,000

A Hawkes Bay opera singer has won a $10,000 scholarship to continue his vocal training at the Cardiff International Academy of Voice.

Baritone Phillip Rhodes received the Laurie Coon scholarship from the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation.
