Maritime authorities are investigating after a barge capsized in the Wellington Harbour channel, dumping about 300 tonnes of rocks.
The 28m Kimihia capsized near Barrett Reef, at the harbour's entrance, about 3am on Saturday. The barge did not sink but was towed back to Miramar Wharf upside down.
