Bank's customers helping to save kiwi

An eftpos card charity scheme has raised more than $660,000 for projects around the country to save the kiwi.

Bank of New Zealand customers who use special Save the Kiwi eftpos cards make a yearly $10 donation to the charity and there are also Save the Kiwi chequebooks, which each bring in a $4 donation.

The BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust gave money to 38 projects this year.
