Joseph Sua robbed the Post Shop/Kiwibank in Flat Bush again this week because he felt he didn't get a big enough haul in the last holdup.
A man who is already on bail for a South Auckland bank robbery returned to the same bank this week, demanding more money because he "didn't get enough last time".
Joseph Sua entered the Flat Bush Post Shop/Kiwibank on Monday around 4.30pm.
With a hand hidden in his pocket he referred to his last visit, threatened staff, demanded more money and indicated that he did not receive enough last time.
He took about $800 - and left behind an image of his face on the bank's security camera footage.
Sua was last captured on the bank's system in December, when he scribbled threatening notes on two pieces of paper, gave them to a teller and got away with a small amount of money.
Two days later he rang the bank manager and said he had carried out the robbery and wanted more.
He then asked the manager to put money in a bag and meet him outside.
Sua never showed up, despite making several calls to arrange collection points.
He was arrested after media publicity, which included his photograph appearing in the Herald.
Sua was charged with the robbery and demanding with menaces for the phone call to the bank manager.
After a court appearance he was released on bail, but breached his bail conditions when he returned to the bank this week.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Karyn Malthus said a warrant was now out for Sua's arrest for the breach of bail and the latest robbery.
Ms Malthus said police did not lightly take the step of releasing an offender's name while he was before the courts.
However, Sua's "unpredictable and brazen behaviour" meant police had little choice. She could not rule out his returning to the bank.
"He's done it twice now. I wouldn't have thought he would have come back this time, so it's quite possible."
Ms Malthus hoped the public would once again call police with information on Sua's whereabouts.
