At today's hearing, Justice Debra Mullins imposed strict bail conditions on Tostee.
She said Tostee must live with his parents in their Carrara home and observe a 10pm to 4am curfew, 9News reported.
He must not consume alcohol and was required to undergo random breath testing.
Tostee was banned from using the dating app Tinder. He was also told he was not allowed to use any form of social media to arrange any meetings with women he had not met before he was granted bail, 9News reported.
Tostee's parents have paid a A$200,000 ($220,000) surety to ensure Tostee would not abscond.
Justice Mullins said Tostee had also agreed to take part in an alcohol rehabilitation programme.
At today's hearing, she said Tostee appeared to be incredibly focused on himself and was obviously upset about what people were saying about him on social media sites, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.
However, she said it would be "unjust" for Tostee to remain in custody until his trial, the Gold Coast Bulletin said.
Tostee, a self confessed playboy, was known to have bragged about past sexual conquests with woman he had met online.
Before his arrest, a man reported to be Tostee boasted on an online bodybuilding forum of 150 sexual encounters, including balcony sex, but denied being responsible for Ms Wright's death.
"Fact is I've taken home probably about 150 girls from clubs over the last few years," wrote a poster using the initials "GT" and reported by Australian media to be Tostee.
"When you go out often to the same places and get drunk and talk to girls, you're bound to get noticed and hated on, and people gossip."
Only days after Ms Wright's death, Tostee logged back on to Tinder, the app where he had met her. He also posted on social media to declare his innocence.
"I've been advised not to go into details but all I will say is that I absolutely did NOT cause this girl to fall and that I am devastated about what happened to her."
Australian media reported that Tostee was expected to be released from the Wacol Correction Centre later today.
His bail hearing began yesterday, but Jutice Mullins reserved her decision until today.
