The two injured Namana-Rowe children are going home from Waikato Hospital as a three-month hospital ordeal ends.
The youngsters were badly burned in a car fire outside SuperCheap Autos in Gisborne on April 4 and have been in hospital since.
Three-year-old Manaia Namana-Rowe suffered burns to 40 per cent of her body in the fire. Her two-year-old brother Rious suffered burns to 20 per cent.
They were treated initially in Gisborne Hospital, then flown to the burns unit at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland, before being transferred back to Waikato about two weeks ago.
A family member indicated earlier this week that their discharge was pending, and that everyone was very excited.
