Baby with 'non-accidental' injuries

Auckland police today said they were investigating the case of a six-month-old baby in a critical condition in hospital.

The baby received injuries that were non-accidental, a Counties Manukau police statement said.

Further details about an inquiry named Operation Taylor would be released at a news conference at 3.30 this afternoon.
