KEY POINTS:
A four-week-old west Auckland baby has been freed by emergency workers, after becoming trapped in a pram.
The Fire Service was called to the New Lynn home just after 11am.
It is unclear at this stage how the baby became entangled.
The child has been given a clean bill of health by a St John Ambulance crew, which was on hand during the procedure.
