A baby girl who suffered burns is now in a stable condition in the children's ward at Middlemore Hospital.
The eight-month-old baby, from the Coromandel town, was yesterday evening flown to Auckland Hospital via Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
She was later transferred to Middlemore Hospital.
A Counties Manukau spokeswoman said the baby was now stable in the Kidz First surgical ward.
