Baby food recalled

A Queensland-based food company is recalling several varieties of infant food because they may contain small pieces of plastic.

The recall relates to 220g cans of Golden Circle Junior Meal Mates vegetables, beans and beef, 170g glass jars of Golden Circle Junior Meal Mates pear rice and mango pudding, and 170g jars of Golden Circle 3rd Foods risotto vegetable and beef for infants.

The products have "best before" dates up to and including January 3, 2008. Customers were asked to return the goods to the retailer where they were bought for a full refund.
