A baby has died in Auckland this afternoon and police are investigating.
Counties Manukau police said a 2-month-old boy died at a residential property in Manurewa.
Detective Inspector Shawn Ruatene told 3 News police were alerted at about 4pm. "We received a call from an address in Manurewa advising us of an incident.
"On arrival, we have located a two-month old child who was deceased.
"We've arrived to find a family here, and they are very distraught and we're just going to continue with enquiries.''
