An Auckland man charged with the murder of a 16-month-old baby boy has been given name suppression while he awaits trial.
The man is charged with the murder of Mt Wellington boy Sachin Dhani in June last year.
When the man appeared in the Auckland District Court yesterday before Judge Joyce, he denied the charge. However, defence counsel Maria Pecotic conceded that there was a case to answer and the man was remanded on bail while he awaits trial at the High Court on June 25.
